Overview:

Active WAN : This displays the WAN interface which is active and is not configurable.

Auto WAN : If Enabled, the active WAN interface selection will be automatic. Port option is displayed. Selection option for Ethernet and Cellular WAN will be disabled. Priority and Keepalive Config will be configurable for all WAN interfaces. If Disabled, the WAN interface should be selected manually by the user. Selection option for ports configured as WAN and Cellular WAN will be enabled and users can select any one WAN interface. Priority and Keepalive Config will be configurable for all WAN interfaces.

Keepalive Method : This is a drop down and has option ping and dns. The user can select any one method to check if the wan interface is alive or not.

Selection : This field will be configurable for the ports configured as WAN, only if the Auto WAN option is Disabled. We can select only one interface over which traffic must be redirected to as autowan is disabled.

Priority : This field will be configurable for the ports configured as WAN, only if the Auto WAN is Enabled, This field is a dropdown with a number of options equal to the number of WAN interfaces including cellular WAN. The option has values from 1 to the number of WAN interfaces. The user can select priority values less than or equal to the number of WAN interfaces.

If Auto WAN is Disabled, This field for every port will be greyed out.

Keepalive Config : This field will be configurable for the ports configured as WAN, only if the Auto WAN is Enabled. If Auto WAN is Disabled, This field for every port will be greyed out.

Track address 1 : This field can be a valid IP address or an URL. This will be used to check the alive status of the WAN interface.

Track address 2 : This field can be a valid IP address or an URL. This will be used to check the 0alive status of the WAN interface.

Track address 3 : This field can be a valid IP address or an URL. This will be used to check the alive status of the WAN interface.

Reliability : Reliability count is the minimum number of Track address ping to be successful to make the WAN interface to be identified as active. The count can be less than or equal to the number of Track IP fields configured. The minimum value can be configured is 1.

Ping Interval : Interval at which the ping should be sent to check the WAN interface is alive or not. It is configured in seconds.

Up Count : The number of ping requests to be successful, in order to consider the WAN interface as active.

Refresh Interval : The interval at which DNS query is sent for checking the keepalive status of the WAN interface.
